My biggest beef is that Amazon decided to ship this router bit set without ensuring that the wood storage case would not pop open during transit. As such, the storage case opened up and spilled out the router bits, and they rolled around on the bottom of the shipping box hitting each other while in transit.
Fortunately for me, CMT made these bits well, and the carbide was not overly brittle. There was no chipping on the carbide edges of the bits, but there was a lot of scratched up orange paint. I’ve only used 1 of the bits so far… the 1/4″ straight bit, and it cut cleanly in a block of hard Cocobolo wood.
