I was in my Sears the other day and they are in the process of completely rearranging the tool section.  The hand tools in particular are moving to different aisles so it will take me a while to get used to the new layout and to notice what new items are there.

But, I did notice a very important omission and I’m very surprised by it.  My Sears no longer carries all three safety keys.  (The safety key is the yellow part of your on/off switch on your stationary and bench power tools)  They only had one type of key left on the shelf and of course it is not the most common.

So,…….if you need a safety key or ever think you may need a safety key I strongly suggest that you get into your Sears and get a package of them now!  I checked sears.com and they also don’t have any of the most common keys (search safety key)

In the future I’m sure you will still be able to order them through parts, but I know that can take a week or more to get them.
