Sears has finally come out with a tool to keep your kids busy while you are using your Craftsman tools. The new Craftsman 19.2-volt Radio Controlled Racing Truck is powered by the same 19.2-volt DieHard battery that powers all of the Craftsman C3 tools. Click on any of the Racing Truck links to see a picture of the truck.
Craftsman 19.2V C3 Radio Controlled Racing Truckis 1:10 scale and uses the standard four pin body mounting that the more expensive RC trucks like Traxxas and Associated use so you will be able to customize it with your choice of bodies. The truck will go up to 18 mph which is plenty fast for driveway racing. The best part of this truck is it uses the same 19.2 Diehard battery that your C3 tools use so you don’t need to buy batteries or a charger. Sears says it will run over an hour on a single charge. If you have the new lithium 19.2 C3 batteries you should get 2 1/2 to 3 hours run time from a battery. The Racing Truck has rear wheel drive, spring suspension (no shocks), and good hard surface tires. The controller is trick and looks like an impact driver. The truck retails for $69.99. Batteries and charger must be purchased separately.
100’s of thousands of the Craftsman 19.2V C3 tools have been sold so this should be a popular addition to the line for Sears.
In summary, the Racing Truck has a powerful 19.2 volt motor, 2 wheel drive with spring suspension, 4 band select transmitter, ad control distance up to 150 feet from controller.
The box includes: RC Truck, Controller, 2 frequency crystals for head to head racing
I have a request into Sears Parts to see if they will be carrying spare parts for the Racing Truck. As soon as I hear back from them I’ll add the information to this article.
You can order the Racing Truck here through the Sears website and pick it up at your nearest Sears store or have it shipped directly to your house.
Enjoy!
UPDATE: I got a form email back from Sears parts saying they don’t have parts. I am going to try and find out IF they will be carrying parts.

What a GREAT rc truck. Durability, longevity of battery, speed and looks are top notch. Like to have replacement parts soon. A large knobby tire would be great. Great “toy” for any age!!!!
